I was looking at the de16 but they have gone now so considering looking at the BMS drivers instead.
I did think of the 18 sound comp's but they are so expensive and quite had to get hold of for some reason (mind you I'm not having much luck with the 10md600 at the moment either?)

Let us know how this ends up sounding. The 10mb600 would be in the shortlist if I had to do a 10" mid bass.
Obvious choice for comp would be DE250 or one of the celestion offerings are said to be just as good these days.

Found a nice plan that I already had on the hard drive (what a muppet) so box build is now on the way for a 1 x 10" full range/mid high loaded with a 18 sound 10MB600 bass drive and a B & C comp (haven't decided which one yet) on an 18 sound XT120 1" horn!
Rated at 600watts it should be a nice sounding cab in a small package! This is going to used on top of an MTH 30 for smaller gig's and a pair of 2 x 15" reflex cab's for the larger stuff! Edit for pic! Mdf construction which will be re-built in birch once the cab is finalised & tuned! ![]() Edited by colint - 30 July 2010 at 8:43pm |

Thanks for the heads up but I've seen that one, the reason I'm looking for a ready made plan is I want my son-in-law to build it with a little help from myself so I don't want anything to complicated but it has to sound good to give him a leg up so to speak! Lol

Then why not re-do the plans with a trap shape?

Has anyone got a plan for a 1 x 10" +hf trap box? I have thought's to building a small cab to perch on top of a MTH30 tapped horn.
I want to use an 18 sound horn (1inch) with a B& C comp and probably a B & C for the cone driver, it would need to handle about 400watts
