anything that doesnt draw huge amounts of power?  i want to stay away from using converters

I picked up a behringer 1002b  for my wife's  band,
it runs off of 2X 9volts.
Looks decent for the price, but I have not used it yet.

Well I got lucky - found an old Gemini "Scratchmaster" down the market for a tenner.
Now I'm sure this ain't the greatest mixer around - BUT - it runs from 12V DC !! Big adavantage !!
Just has a standard 5.5mm barrel connector on the back :-)
No hassles so far with earth loops/hum etc.
