Reminds me of this system I built a good few years ago:

Turning this in to a "show us ya trike" thread... just purchased last night. 2 years old, never been ridden, $250 off ebay - RRP is $900 here:

Will start a new thread when I progress with the project. Don't expect to have a system rolling until our Spring, but can't wait to make it happen

Here is a trike I saw over at the "Worst rigs on planet" thread.

Looks a bit heavy/top heavy.

For 2014 my main plan is to acquire a lightweight 24-30volt battery for my 4X100w 2050 amp.
Any ideas?

Parts for a Bob multipurpose box.  It will also strap on to a rear rack for use with a 2X10" bass tube.
Any problem driving a pair off of a 4X100 2050 @ 3ohms? (other channels are 8ohms)

Posted on a Danish forum. It's what I'd call the perfect bike speaker set up.

A Boominator
A Cubo15ext
An efficient 4 channel class D car in 2.1 setup for example Vibe slick stereo 4 or especially a Pioneer GM-D8604
Large 90-120Ah deep cycle battery

Adrian Hinge that built it points out he's invested in proper straps since taking these pictures.

If you can't access facebook, you're living in the stone age.

Apparently I don't have permission to upload or post pictures or make proper hyperlinks. Sorry about that.

Doesn't placing a boominator so high mess up the tuning?

You would probably be able to high pass the boominator with the x-over in a car amp.

I am trying to shed some weight from a bike trailer rig (6X10"speakers) + heavy sla's = a 50kg/100lb boat anchor, a heavy slow charging lead battery is not what I would want in my ideal mobile rig.

The reason I think it's ideal is that it's so multi-functional. It's naturally extremely loud and plays very well when on the bike. The Cubo15 makes and ideal match for a Boominator taking over from 120hz using the internal crossover in the amp. Freeing the Boominator from the lowest frequencies also makes it possible to use the system indoors as well And finally when you don't want to have the whole system to the beach or whatever you leave the Cubo, amp and the big battery at home and just take the fully functional Boominator instead.

My system on 3rd page has about 1,5 kg of lipos and plays about 6 h at full volume. Max. 150 W to subwoofer and 80 W to mid-tops.

That system looks like a cubo15 and a halfinator cut in two.

Yes, same drivers suitable for both (3015LF as bass).
