Is three 4in port,s enough for a dual 18 box to prevent port noise ?'boxing question is 14.5 cuft .

No one will be able to answer such a question. You will need to simulate the cabinet, tuning frequency with, the TS Parameters of the driver to get the answer.

First thank you all for your help . After working on my laptop I got winisd to work .my port velocity is 1.986 m/s peak at 30hz is this low enough ?

Seems VERY low, 10% of speed of sound is acceptable for PA I would say (34m/s).

Far too low to be right, actually. My 1st guess, you haven't input the actual power you'll be using them at yet, perhaps? (That looks awfully like the 1W figure, not the 2 or 3 thousand Watts you might actually want to run them at.) Have a look at the G-Sub on this site - its port is roughly the equivalent of 7, 4" diameter ports. HTH, David.

I simmed it for him already, and the port velocity exceeded 107m/s at full power. I also suggested for him to look at the G-sub :)

Thank,s guys for your help .winisd is sim it at 1 w not at full power that is why it's showing such a low reading .as for the Gsub this is my take on it ,I have changed some of the measurements to better suit the driver I have .later today I will go back to my sim in winisd and reset to get reading at full power and change from round ports to slot .
