Hello im after 2 lengths of 50 metre XLR cable. Male XLR at one end and balanced jack at the other. They are for an install.

100m reels are quite cheap to find, soldering the connectors takes 10min - wont get it any cheaper imo..?

Yep, gotta agree with that!
It's for an install so you can buy the cheapest balanced mic cable going and just solder the connectors on yourself. You are very unlikely to find existing cables with different connectors at each end so you will have to modify them anyway.

Another option would be to use the Studio Spares bulk stereo mic cable, product code 548120. Its 2 balanced cables joined together in figure of eight configuration, can easily be separated into single cables. I've used this many times, its good quality, very durable and nice to prepare and solder terminals on.
