Hi,

If I run 3 tops on one amp, 4 ohm load on one channel and 8 ohm on the other, will there be a noticeable difference in volume or sound quality between the different loads? The power difference is only 50 - 100w.

Cheers,

Sirbrins

Edit - poorly written!

He means 3 cabs run off one 2x channel amp. One speaker off channel A and 2 speakers off channel B.
If it sounds like a gorilla is trying to escape, turn it down.

You would not have a problem and shouldn't notice much difference.

Per cab? If so then you won't notice any appreciable difference in SQ or SPL.
