Not sure why '3000' though, should be '2000'. </div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forum.speakerplans.com/member_profile.asp?PF=702">ceharden</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 44897<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 12 May 2013 at 8:55pm<br /><br />The Matrix/Harrison comparison isn't entirely fair.&nbsp; Underneath the PCB on the Matrix you will find surface mount circuitry which is all the small signal and driver stages.<br><br>There are actually many similiarities between the circuitry on the two amps but the Matrix uses modern manufacturing techniques to fit it into a much smaller space.&nbsp; The Harrison also has several features including (what appears to be) separate rectification and smoothing for the two amp channels.<br><br>What it shows is how component technology and manufacturing processes has progressed to allow a similar amplifier to be made in a more compact format and less labour intensive manner. <br>]]>
