How do you compare the sound of the beymas vs the thomann's? Smile

Them Thomann drivers seem to be built well ? never seen them or heard before , any idea who actually build's them but ovisly sell them under the Thomann brand

Been using the Gsubs for a couple of years now and they have been working fine. No problems at all. Been running them mostly on a single t.amp TA-2400 on the edge of clipping, sometimes "lghtly" clippin all night. I notice a big gain in spl without any change ni sound when the clip just starts flickering.

A couple of nights i have been running them with two Altair MF-12 one per box bridged. With thoose amps i needed to set limiters 1-2dB under clip. Otherwise they started sounding distorted. May have been x-max/x-mech issues.

Today it was time for a repaint

Beyma 18G550 and the Thomann drivers

The Thomann drivers are a few mm bigger in diameter

Also put some foam on the grills

The thomann subs are sold only by Thomann as they are an own brand however I think thomann may ship to Aus check out on the website :)

Newby to the forum from Australia, awesome info and read here.

Quick question about the Thomann subs listed here, does anyone have them available in Aus? Or good place to buy them direct o/seas?

I am keen to give building a set of these cabs a go with these drivers.

My old boss retired so i started a new company and bought the truck. Been working a lot ever since..

But atleast there have been some progress :)

The club this winter has been on the second floor with a narrow stair. I got tired of carrying the G-subs and wanted something smaller so i built 6 Tham15 but ran out of time so only two are finished and they are a part of my home stereo right now ;)

Also bought a Lab FP-3400 so i got something better then the TA-2400!

(Pioneer-rig is not mine, whisky bottle is)
