TURBOSOUND
***** In your opinion / past experience *****
1 x TSE218 (2x18") underneath 1 x TMS4
or
1 x TSW721 (1x21") underneath 1 x TMS4

218 might be louder but 721 probably sounds nicer.

218 being louder due having 2 drivers in one cabinet???
... althought a 21" is the same watts as 2 x 18" drivers???????

Two 18" drivers will have a larger radiating area and handle more power than a single 18" driver.
Power (Watts is the unit) on it's own does not make a system loud. Driver and cabinet efficiency plays a very large part. |

If using four or more bass cabs a side then I would go for the 21's otherwise the 2x18's.
A TMS 4 stacked on top of a 21" isn't going to be tall enough which could be a bit of a PITA. I prefer the 21" and in stacks of 4 or more, I think they would match up better with the low section of the TMS4's |

My system is in the middle, I am debating whether or not changing 218's for 721's or maybe just adding to the system..?

As you already have the 218's why not see if you can hire some 21" to try.

I have purchased that TSW721 from 'champion' and managed to get a pair of PD2150 drivers. Will try out tomorrow, although it will be a 218 vs single TSW721 comparison.
Turbosound have given me the rough ULTRADRIVE delay settings to play with... here goes.

you only get out what you put in, if you drive the speakers with the right amplifiers they are gonna sound pretty good. here are three tips to make you go deaf in style
Tip one....ditch the Ultradrive and get yourself a bss minidrive
Tip two....Powersoft Amplifiers with power factor correction(non of your behringer rubbish)
Tip three.....Old blue boxes still sound good but theres a hell of a lot more out there these days
I run EV Dml midtops and 18" Jbl Loaded G subs bottom end active 3 way.
you dont even need ears as these G-subs will shake the sh*t out of you arsehole, I now
you dont get as much throw but who needs the sandwiches dancing on the plates nextdoor anyway.
not much help really but at least i had a say.
