this is my mixer and my amps. the Tapco J2500 is pretty good i abused it a lot run it in 2 ohms/chanal and all u could imagine and never stoped running. The omnitronic.. it's $hit.
My desk sux.. but the thing is i am making money providing the sound for small partyes and stuff.. whereever i'm needed it reallyBig%20smileBig%20smile.I started this buisness/hobby only 2 years ago with only 2 speakers and a diy ampLOL
I plan to use the tapco for the tops in the future and buy a amp for the subs something cheap like a Phonic xp5000 or a proline 3000 + a behringer ultradrive sound procesor.
Another option will be using a Ecler dpa2000 + amic sound procesor, Mircea bartic the user from this forum uses ecler amps and never had any problems.

something obout the chipboard i think u sould know.. it's not an ordinary chipboard i use.. it's not that soft thing u could brake it with your arms or scratch it with your fingernail. I personaly can't brake a pice of this clipbord 30/8 cm only if i hit it with my knee

ahh ryt, very good looking build to say you used chipboard not the easiest stuff to work with, good choice of driver as well, what you going to be powering it all with?

thx

i would build the boxez out of plywood or mdf  .. 3x times the price of chipboard, not that much of a problem but  the shops who sell mdf and plywood wount cut it. so i would not only pay a lot for the material but i would have to hire a special truck to transport it coz the pannels are 4/2.5 metersUnhappy
i am using RCF lf18n401 for the es18bph  dunno what to chose for the top

Go for it! nice lookin build too!
I agree chipboard is not the best material, but when you're doin it for the love I don't think that matters so much.

i think chipboard is actualy a little lighter and cheaper than mdf, though not realy the best matirial for box building but as the man says budget build, whilst im not the best person to ask about sound quality i do like a budget build, usualy it means someones doing it for the music Clap even if they are possibly not going about it the best way.
