Alright fellow speaker freaks!

I shall be getting my new mid tops by the end of February, four x15's.
I will be loading them with some old kcs drivers I got from a old cinema install and some fane horns.

So what I was thinking is wiring each speaker up 4 way, then having a distro unit on the back of my amp rack to Sepertate the high and mid range.

The kcs drivers are 500watt and 8ohms I believe.
And the fane horns are 50watt and 8 ohms to I believe.

I was thinking for the mid range,a four channel amp? are there any 4 way Amps that push 500watt@8 ohms per channel kicking about?

Or any Amps that do 1000watt in 4ohms per channel?

Fancy something 1u or 2u. £500/£1000 price range.

same goes for the high section,

4 channel 50watt @8ohms or 100watt @4ohms again £500/£1000

Any help,or a point in the right direction would be massively appreciated!!

Much love as always!

Hi have a PQM13 ( from Bee) running my bins and 18s and a cheap assed Thomman 4x1300 on 10s and 1s.

The PQM is in a different league to the T-Amp, but was also £1000 where the Tamp was less than £400, I would consider the T-amp stuff fine above 100Hz (a Bit like Lab Gruppen) but def spend the cash on SAE for your low end, unless you can jump to QSC PL, Powersoft, FFA or MC2 you will struggle to match the SAE for depth, unless a 200KG rack appeals in which case Brdged 3801 or EX4000s will blow the SAE out the, for the same cost (ish) you could have a 12U 4ch 130KG amp!!!
