If 18's, which you reckon would be better sounding above scoops! 186's or 1850's ?

Would you say these folded horns above some RX18's in the below pic are too narrow for the scoops ? Wink

Static you're cheating mate !!!

Those scoops are a little wider than most, and there is a little gap in between them...

However set does look very neat.

Seems a bit huge mate.

I guess the ideal would be USB size, with ES18 performance, which wont happen, unless custom driver is used.

Do people think 2x18 reflex with PD186/XB/Celestion would out do HD215 with PD154 @ 70-180 inside and out?

Much thanks for all the feedback.

Seems finances will be choosing which cab I go with, as it must be usable as sub with smaller gigs as well.

So I guess I'm going for Gsubs or 1x18 cubes. Probably loaded with PD186/XB/18PS100.

Thanks again people.

HD215 would be 3 - 5 db louder in that pass band.

The scoops are quite wide. The gap is caused because those scoops are pretty much flightcased & they have fittings on the sides which alow them to interlock when stacking.

i'd take the pepsi challange against most kick bins with my Pd186 loaded ES18's. 600mm wide to stack nice and neat on top of our Hogs.
we used to own a G sub which we used over our scoops, and i'm confident in saying 1 ES18 would destroy a double 18 G sub @ 80-180hz easily
