I have been toying with the idea of modding a Behringer CX2310 to run on 12V but don't want to go buy one if it's not feasible.
So was wondering if anyone knows or anyone who has one could perhaps meter it and tell me what DC voltages need to be fed to the board? Edited by Blaize110 - 13 February 2012 at 6:17pm |

I have a 2310 in my small rack. Will be altering the patch panel in the next day or so, so I'll pull it out of the rack and have a look for you.

It will want + and -15v for sure or a few volts more before its regulators.

Re: "So was wondering if anyone knows or anyone who has one could perhaps meter it and tell me what DC voltages need to be fed to the board?"
You will also need to know the maximum current drawn for each of the supply rails. Don't have a CXxxxx here any more; but can measure all of this here easily if someone wants to drop in with one Mik |

Would it not be more like 0.5A per rail? As the specs quote the power as <17W, so roughly 1A total @ 15V, so roughly 0.5A per rail?

Bigger quest would it work @ +/- 12V so you could use on eof these badgers to power it?

Not sure how efficient it would be, but i've also found this:
Which could then be regulated back down, but it seems rather overkill so i'm still on the lookout for the same thing, but with a lower output voltage.

Surely with a few componentsbswapped this board would do +\- 17v natively.....
