which are going to be the best speaker connections on the back of a speaker ?

i have worked with speakons and xlr before but was wondering how they weigh up against each other

PA - or hifi cabs?

For hifi you definitely need proper gold or platinum plated connectors.   LOL

Otherwise, speakons are pretty much the standard these days.

This wasn't a big thing when we were all using 100W speakers but once you start getting into 1000s of watts it becomes a safety issue. Speakons also deal with cables with larger CSAs as required by speakers with larger power capacity. Finally, they can deal with 4 core or 8 core cables making set up simpler.

Although the nlt4mp-bag is a good choice, i personally prefer the nl4mpr.
