Hi all, I've lurked these forums for quite some time now but never joined in so here I am with my first question. I've acquired four Rhino mk3's and would like to know your opinions on the best drivers for these cabs, I'm thinking maybe pd186's but any help would be much appreciated Big smile

OK nice 1 man, never heard much faital stuff but been considering the rest of them. 1850's would be my first choice but need to keep the drivers around the £200 mark really

Considering that you say you want to be able to through anything at them, you may have to revise your budget, and get something that can really handle power. You might get lucky on the "used " market.

Which amps do you power them with?
Which music do you play?

Heard 18LW2400 in Superscoops, IMHO sounded OK, but no way could take hammering that Void could.

Lev am not using eighteensound 18lw2400 am using fane 18xb with the rhinos
, i like the sound for 70's Roots music but they seem to me that cant take much, i have used pkn amp.
looks like void can take much more hammering, i spoke with a member using the 18lw2400 and he is very happy. what about fane 1000?

Fane 18-1000s sound nice to a point, but still just "another OK driver", compared to Voids.

These and the original Collossus are the best sounding. But like you said can't take a hammering

I have the original driver spec that they were designed for. I'll try and match that with something here in the UK
