We recognised the Boominator as a good DIY project, so thought we would try to inspire some of our customers to try building one!

Unfortunately that is a problem, we have 200 pieces of HP10W arriving in about 4 weeks time, at the moment it looks like nearly all are presold already!

Is that the 3rd batch this year?

To tout my own horn a bit, it is a rather good DIY design. For such incredibly complex engineering the actual building is quite straight forward and deceptively simple. A really good entry level build for many young people to dip their toes into DIY speaker building.

Some of the issue is being able to predict demand, and order the right amount.

It doesnt make good practise to order far too much or far too little, need to find that goldilocks quantity...

We had a delivery in January, then again in May. This next delivery was originally planned for September/October, but various complications have caused a delay. They will be here by the end of November though.

Yeah, the UK is a big market though with lots of outdoors festivals and activities especially during the Summer and the Boominator is only starting to catch on over there and in the Netherlands too. Even with hundreds, maybe even thousands built in Scandinavia alone it doesn't seem like demand is slowing down.
