Apperado is right lol missed that one Pinch... meant 100 people plus..

As for the budget i am hoping to spend about £150-£200 or  bit more where possible ....

Im not yet well versed with how this works and probably still confused on how much i have to budget for a good and worthwhile pair that will last me.

I am open to suggestions if its too low i will have to work on raising more...

Thanks to all who have taken time to reply i greatly appreciate this..

@Lukelucas i have omnitronic P1500 amp and a Gemini 3600 CD Player at the minute .... I will be playing a mix as i will be doing parties some something that will adapt to most sound would be ideal. Like i said im not experienced in this field i would beg for some guidance of some sort and if the budget that i have set to get the ball rolling is too little then i will raise more

I'm not really an expert but if you have a look around at some plans and your willing to give DIY ones a bash you will find a benefit in keeping the cost down, when I first came on here I was shown a plan for these; http://www.freespeakerplans.com/sos215p.html

Although I didn't build them and went for something a bit more challenging all the cuts are right angles and I cant see why these wouldn't manage 100 people :) but I don't know your mode of transport either. If you want to keep them compact there are also some nice plans floating about some where if i remember rightly

@Likelucas

good looking design i can do plain boxes without angle as i have done a few flightcases as for the angled boxes im not yet confident i will consider something similar and with right angles all round... what material did you use MDF or Plywood or a combination of the two...

I will work on choosing the plan first i guess then work towards getting the right parts.... What brand(s) did you use for your components and how are they like. That's another setback i have, not knowing the right bit to pick and fit for purpose.

But hey you gave me a big jump i will scrawl around to find the best and affordable..Thanks a lot for your help greatly appreciated

Erm I use ply 18mm 13 lam birch is what is advised, but I am just using normal Exterior (WBP) Plywood to keep the price down :) if you look at the link and scroll down a bit it'll tell you the advised drivers

RCF MB15H401 & ND850 1.4" Hf Comp with HF64 flayer & 1800hz passive crossover.

Or

you can use Beyma 15G40 & CP750ND with 1200Hz passive crossover
