Hope it is the tunnel CA18 scenario, is 1" deeper than CA18, so fingers crossed.

Introducing our new range of Dual Channel Amplifiers with powers ranging from 2000 watts  up to 6000 watts.

2U & 3U high, heavy duty steel construction
Oversize extra  heavy duty  toroidal mains transformer
Balanced inputs with XLR & Jack connectors
Dual speakon & binding post outputs
   Dual high speed fans
Protection against  short circuit, DC, thermal & sub/ultrasonic
Power, signal, protection & clip indicators
 SN Ratio = > 105db
THD+N = <0.035% ( Rated Power @ 4Ohms 1Khz )

UA6 Amplifier 6000Watts-3U Rackmount

UA6 Specifications
2 Ohms = 3000 Watts Per Channel
4 Ohms = 2250 Watts Per Channel
8 Ohms = 1450 Watts Per Channel

If I am correct 1x JTS UA6 costs pprox £1300,
3x Matrix STR3000 costs approx £1300

If we are talking about 6 cabs,

3x STR's will put 1kw into each of the 6x cabs, with each amp running off its own  13amp socket no problem, and less susceptible to damping/cable length issues due to running @ 8ohm loading.

If a UA6 has a sufficient power lead/connector and PSU to draw approx 25amps @ 240V, it will obviously put slightly less into 6x cabs, as it is a 2.66 ohm load, not 2ohm.

Also the UA6 power figures are quoted @ 1khz, so the 20hz-20khz power O/p may well be much less than quoted figures.

The left hand heatsink is a mirror of the right and although there is one double wound transformer there are two power supplies stacked one on the other.
And, yes very good question from Saul, where did you get those photos so quickly?

Yes, the amps are 3 step, 2 caps per step per rail.
