hello all, i have a problem with my citronic pdq turntables. after around 3 miniuts one starts to run slower and slower and slower.

now i found a previous thread on here asking for a manual. and a chap said about these suffering with heat soak.

now i've cracked open my turntable and they have a toshiba ta7259p chip on the pcb. do these suffer with the problem of heat and is this more my problem than the motors?

many thanks.

The toshiba chip is part of the motor, it won't work without it. It could be the IC, stick a new one in and try it. They usually have a heatsink and paste attached, these must be in order.
