Unfortunately, the European distributors are afraid of selling this amp, so is almost impossible to get here in UK.

The add says extreme lightweight!

Ain't it heavier than the Deton AOne 3600 (Proline 3000) ?

We bought a load of Deton gear a couple of years ago and experienced a 50% failure rate---nice looking gear but very poorly designed and they use cheap and nasty components inside poor metalwork as well---would not reccomend anything with the Deton name on it.

How come T.amp Proline's, which basically are Deton A-series are performing flawlessy on few clubs I've installed them, then?

Well Robbo, guessing it couldn't have been the Aone series you bought in.

Proline series from Thomann, are rebranded Deton Aone series, and they provide 3 year warranty/guarantee with their amps.

Have personally owned the proline 2700 (Deton Aone 3200), and it was immaculate in 4 ohm bridge. And cold to the touch at end of gigs.

This is the pic of Deton Aone 4400.

Deton 3200/3600/4400 have 30 o/p devices per channel, and unique cooling solution. Much better than CA18 copy stylee, hence the reputation of Prolines running very cool when bridged, and seriously warm sub.

DJ Leco, has detailed changes to certain relays/power regs etc, to maintain reliability.

Was recently told, only difference between bigger models is the transformer.

That buyers would buy more of these than some of the more expensive brand stuff...

The only Euro supplier of this amp is always sold out, and always has smaller models in stock. LOL

Have only used proline in 4 ohm bridge.

Ask Tekasis, he has heard Proline 3000, 8 ohm per side with v18-1000s.

Would need to compare the AD12.2 to the Deton 4400, "Not" Proline 3000s.

Proline 3000 is only 1500wpc @ 4 ohms, so not enough juice to run 2x big boy 18s per channel.

AD12.2 & Deton 440 are approx 1800wpc like Deton 4400.

There are few other chinese amps that have good chance of doing > 2000wpc @ 4 ohms. Wink

Not looking to run big boy drivers, just fane xb's as Im not after stupid spl but rather nice warm sub frequencies . Should have enough headroom with the prolines if run in 4ohm bridge. Now Im considering the 4400 or the DA12.2. Right now I borrow my brothers EV p3000 which I love but he doesnt like to cane his equipment and dread's it when I hook up my JTS pre into his amp LOL.
