Sorry if this has been asked before but it doesn't show up in a search I tried.

Can someone explain the differences between the M3 & M3+ System Controllers for Blackline speakers please?

The specs for the F12 & F12+ speakers according to Martin Audio seem identical i.e. both are rated at 300W AES, both have the same sensitivity of 97dB. I'm aware Martin changed the drivers used in the F12 when the F12+ was introduced but overall there doesn't seem to be much difference.

Is it also the case there were different cards to be fitted internally in the M3 controller depending on the speakers to be used?

Is there any important reason why I shouldn't use my M3 unit with F12+ & S18+ speakers?

Comments appreciated from users with direct experience of these products.

The M3+ will have slightly higher limiter positions for some systems.

For example, the S218+ and 15" section in a H3+ have higher powered drivers than those in the S218 and H3
