Define disco lights? I've got a birthday party coming up and they've asked for some disco lights. Will moonflowers do? What about scanners?

Any recommendations for something on a budget/2nd hand?

Yeah moonflowers will do

Moonflowers like:
Abstract twister 4s
NJD datamoons
Martin t-rex
Martin raptors etc..

Scanners and barrel effects like:
Acme dynamo's
Acme Dynarocks
Martin acrobats

or LED disco lights like
Acme ImpossibLED, the best moonflower led disco light, huge coverage,

Hope this helps

We have 4 Martin mx4 scanners with a little mc showtime controller forage for £500 if your interested Sam.

The little controller is designed for these and a few other Martin fixtures to be strung together and gives you pure disco treats

Ian,

Liking the suggestion of pinspots (oh how I try to hunt them down on fleabay!) but how about a few Pulsar trispots driven by the 3000 (or a Modulator?), or, a few of those luverly plexiglas fronted screens?, pure 80's disco

our venue has around 30 working ones sat in a cupboard with IEC connectors if you really are desperate. Used them once last year to make a 'disco fever' rig for a clubnight one a few dimmer channels Embarrassed
