Yes, but that is also a crossover/lms... more functionality than I need.

I need something with four channels to put in between my preamp and the amps. 4 way.

1046 is more expansive than 1066. Why do you suggest 1046 instead of 1066?

Both seem to be 1 rack unit high.

you don´t need a four ch one you only need 2ch for right and left on your bass that´s all I´d get 2 of the 160A and don´t ask me why, there´s lots of inform on here you don´t seem to want to read , do some search sometimes

I know it's more expensive, but it meets ur stated requirements, whereas the 1044 & 160 won't...dunno if the Alessis 3630 is available in the UK.. U might try buying 2 units for 4 channels..They normally retail at 80 - 90 USD

btw, im planning on using the crown 5000vz to power 2 hogs @ 4ohms each

aafoon - so just to be clear, you have the faitals loaded in hogs? or in another type of front loaded horn?

i think now it is between b&c or faital..
