Old heavy, thirsty amp but very good, even if it gets a bit hot..

Been offered a few, wonder if there's a mod, for it to run a bit cooler !?

as ken said,.ive had a few now for over 10years,,no service,,still goin strong,.although i have hoovered the dust out one or twice,.im stickin with them anyway,,sound lush from 20hz to 20khz,.i have got the dynacords l2400 aswell,,ther like brand new,,& seems to run a little cooler than the older ones,.i like um Thumbs Up

also helps if the bias is set right. The pots on these drift and can lay on the bias pretty thickly. A quick test is to let one idle on the bench for a few minutes. It should cycle the fans on and off between 'stop' and speed 1.
The other option is to plug it into a watt meter and check the idle power consumption is as per spec sheet.
