Had a couple of PM enquiries about these modded CV bins I built,  so figured I'd just make the sketchup files available to all  here. I've never got round to extracting a proper working plan from it, apart from rough notes on paper, but sketchup is free and easy enough to take the tape measure to the model.

Link below, zipped in .rar format by habit, but only 1Meg or less.

awsome man.  im a fan of the vega horns.  easier to constuct than the majority of boxes, and they kick like a mule.  perfect for techno.  may well use your plan in the future
REFLEX ALL THE WAY.... (however, im playing with horns again...) That ok Mister Valiant? :)

No probs.. Indeed, a very easy build,  due to the simple internals you can knock them togather in no time. They kick nicely, and not overly lacking in the low stuff.. 8 of these on sub duty for a rental sound here, and they do the job for live gigs nicely.  8 of them on techno would be fierce :)

And don't worry kamal..having a busmans holiday this week..doing some of my own bits and bobs in the workshop :)

If you want more sub than kick try loading them with a slightly "looser" driver, medium Vas, BL not so high, they can sound reasonably big and warm even in pairs... not sure its the best cab choice for the music styles, they will produce some sub, but other things might give you more...

Personally I like the balance of these bins.. play deep enough to pass as subs, and high enough as a kick bin..

Its google sketchup.. free to download, just google it and you'll find it, there's a spanish version too if that helps. The file is a 3D model that can be opened and edited only with the sketchup software.

The dimensions are what sketchup gave me as I drew it out, so I advise anyone using them to draw it up on a side panel before making the rest of the cuts. Just that sketchup isn't really a proper cad program so I'm a bit dubious of the accuracy.

I previously forgot to mention that I drew this box with the 500mm internal width that I will use, simple enough to cut all your panels with the extra 100mm if you want it full width. You would then also need to change the top panels, the outer layer is two sections on mine with the access panel between, if making box wider you would need to make one large peice with the access panel cut out.
I think the back panel is missing from the drawings, but you can work that out...
