Yes, king original was a tuff sound inna east london. They use to control all of Stratford, Manopark, Ilford area without question. Big sound!! |

Nuff sounds use to say "last Plastic".. Even Aba would say that when he first started playing. Other signals would be : Shaka taking off his trench coat, and putting the crocus bags on the floor, and putting his two transco chests on the table. Coxsone, would run the siren effects for about 1 minute, then festus would sey "Coxsone king in de ring now!!" King Original would always say "Fine style time" Nuff dem sounds had pure original quality and catch phrases inna dem times. with the onslaught of dancehall vibe in 83/84 then the uniqueness started to dissipate. ah so it go |

What is this list? Sounds from 'back in the day'? Doesn't look likely, although some are. It's an interesting list, but what does it all mean?
