Got 2 Cerwin Vega subs for dirt cheap. I know CV doesnt make to great of stuff. But does anyone have any kind of info on this thing?

It looks like the same woofer I got out of my 121 home speakers, if that's the case, it's just a regular woofer, not a sub, probably around 40-1.5k or 2k. Though they work ok for a sub, I pulled mine out and built a custom box. They work ok, good for bottom end without attracting to much unwanted attention to yourself.... aka, the police :)

Yeah they where out of home speakers. What size of an amp would i want do use with 2 of these?
 
Ive heard they arent a bassy woofer but loud.

Id like to see you put its power handling thru it for a couple of hours non stop- it looks like it has a 2inch voice coil- that aint going to handle that power- i estimate that will take 400w max before it dies
