you can go for 4 mb115/b too ^^ or why not a 3-way speaker?
btw, startec told me that the best choice for sbh was PD.1851 or 1852 (both) |

he told me they are cleaner and more powerful on SBH than the N401. (a bit more expensive too :/)
btw for these drivers, you need to make a little change on the plan (because the pd's magnet is bigger than the rcf)

The size of the PD magnet would change the chamber volume. how would one get around this problem? Do you have an updated version of this cab? I originally built mine for the RCF drivers, sounds awesome, best cab I ever heard musically. I have also tried a Proel SP series 4ohm 1500w driver because one of the RCF went down and we needed 2 cabs for the event. sounded better then the RCF??? Don't ask for the specs,I just can't find them anywhere.all I know is they can take a beating and very powerful thick paper cone. thickest cone I seen yet. cheers |

I've got to say that although it may be the size of the magnet on the PD1851's may effect the overall volume, as it's mounted in such aa way as to be in rhe throat of the TH18 sub, & having listened to a pair performing, I don't think it's going to make any negligible difference.

to use the pd1851 or 1852 you just have to move a little bit the driver's board
