I'd recommend this over the ebay generics, much easier to find working drivers and hasn't let me down on different devices like the green jelly style ones:

How about doing the same poll for dbx driverack or xilica filters?

They really f'''' me over! I had a few dcx-2496, MUCH BETTER than dbx driverack so far!
I had 2-3 driveracks going all crazy & just one 2496 with a unstable screen.

Worst thing ever was some bbs filters, they got all crazy and messed up the output routing themselves!
Another BAD BEHRINGER thing is their cheaper analogue filter with a master limiter, NEVER use that limiter! It might turn into a noise generator & blow your speakers, -tried that.

I have 2 dbx drive racks, one had a duff screen, when you pressed on the ribbon it upset everything and you had to do a factory reset, the other one well, I don't want to jinx myself, I think they are good easy to use units, I don't use the compressors or harmonic synth on them, and the auto eq tries to add tons of gain to some frequencies, but apart from that brilliant.

My new berry dcx pro arrived yesterday, it's the first berry rack unit I have bought,it looks very well made and feels solid.

It has a slot on the front and 3 inputs, I will have to look out for a desk with 3 outputs i guess.

Having 3 inputs is nice. I had a weird problem on one of mine where Channel A started playing up at a gig. I just moved the input to C and re-routed. All good.  Smile

Hi earplug

It's a lot more complicated to set up than my drive rack pa, for stereo 2 way, were do I start ?

LH LH LH and ignore output 5 and 6?

A link to an idiots guide would be appreciated.

Sounds about right. I'd plug a pair of XLR's into the 5/6 outputs and run them to a nearby sink or drain to get rid of the spare signal personally...

To be honest I bought this unit on a whim, I did no research and added it to my purchase of a new amp because I figured if you need a spare amp you should have a spare x over too.

I made an assumption it would be similar in features to my drive rack pa, but it's blaringly obvious how different these units are,

Right now I am sitting on the sofa with a set of numbers relating to the 28 band graphic on the dbx, with no were to input them and presume I must mimick the old shapes using bells, gains and Q settings yes?

What would you guys do, migrate to the berry and start again leaving the dbx as a spare, or the opposite.

I found its easiest to set it up when you just turn the link off for all channels and set up outputs one by one,not that its much complicated anyway but yeah.
