I've heard these double 18 selems many times loaded with beymas
they are very nice, super loud punch bass

I wouldn't cut one in half though, I would build them end to end if possible, but that maybe to high

why don't don't you make them wider instead of 500 say 610

can be good idea to build them little bigger, instead  800x800x500 some 800x800x610

but what it will do with the sound of the cabinet? any idea ?

need someone to calculate the response in SPLreps for halfs 800x800x500 and for 800x800x610

The PAS1MA1 sound really incredible! I use Kappalite 15'' in low mid, B&C 12PE32 for hi mid and the D3300 from selenium for hi. I cross them at 125Hz, 300Hz and 1.6Khz with minimal EQuing. I run them with 4Kw per per of mid bass, 2Kw per paiur of hi mid and 400W per pair of drivers. I use a soundweb to process all this and limit at the Xmax of the speaker. 8 of these outside cover 10 000 peoples easily! We was using the selenium 1505 sub before, but now we now have replace them with 12 Startec SBH sub, the match are beyond ear tolerance!
