Ok thanks for that mykey. At least you could 'see' they were using HB1805C1 cabs and VZ5000 amp.
There is a post from 2006 - showing this combination. I don't think the chances of this rareish combination being repeated are too high so it is probably the bloke you are talking about.... maybe. Anyway in the photos you can clearly see that they are using selenium WPU1805 drivers. At least then, 3 years ago. I was thinking of building some of the Hb1805C1 in singles as I have convinced myself es18 won't go low enough. Good pick up about not being sure of g550s, as I was tempted to lash out on some Beyma 18g550s which cost more than 18TBX100s here. I think I will prototype a HB1805C1 with drivers I have laying around, and also some 15" with an adaptor to see what I like the sound of. Not that I would use fifteens permanently, but I can then sim them and find 18's with similar response. |

NCP222,
If you do build these things, let us know how the 18P1000 and 18G550 sound. The 18G550 model similar to the 18TBX100 that asaa00 is using in his HB1805C1 cabs and he seems pretty happy. |

Hi
I use no-name drivers in my HB1805c1 and have to change.
They sounds great so I decided to build more HB1805c1 but I cant get any more of the no-name drivers.
Is there anyone on this forum how like to help me calkulate how the PD.186 will work in this bin.
