60Hz is fine, even 50 if you have two.
You might want to reverse the polarity, but phase alignment is so complicated it could go either way. Try +/- and see which is loudest. If you can't tell, then your delays may need adjusting.

I just re read this,
it doesn't matter. Pick one and stick to it. I reversed it on the driver.

Cool! Thank u for the reply :) will try dropping them from 70hz to 60hz and see difference. Its what I thought about reversing polarity I just wanted to check. As regards to waddig do u think I will get away with just wadding the access panel.. Not too thick tho! Thanks buddy :)

I'm so amazed by my turbosound tsw-218, they do really frop low, we even measured it!
I don't know how, but it works, it's a bit bigger though, approx same size as TT1000 think it's something like 57x70x75 (per 18", there's two)

tv00, can you tell us what drivers tsw 218 are loaded with?
I never had a chance to hear them but lots of people here saying that they go lower than usual for the band pass horn. I would really like to know what driver Turbo use. Not for copying purpose but out of pure curiosity.

Yes, originally it was a pd first called turbosound ls-1812, then 1812.2 that had an extra reinforcement ring between coil & cone under the centerdome (and a big centerdome) as some of the drivers ripped their cones. I think this was mainly due to the fact that people use them standing vertically in singles thereby unloading them at low frequencies.
RC-kits are unavailable and turbosound changed to a new B&C driver called ls-1815, this driver looks identical to me to NBX100 more than 18nw100 as the first one has no cone threatment an neither does the ls-1815. But it could be turbos own version as the wattage is low on the turbo tsw-218 (the pd made ls-1812 & 1812.2 has tiny windings on the voicecoil)
The drvers are loaded with magnet in horn like es18 (& plans are online)

When changing to the b&c made ls-1815 you have to use an adaptor ring or make new holes, this thing puxxles me a bit, the adaptor ring is at least 18mm so it must change rear / front chamber by some litres compared to new holes, I don't know what's best.

easy to calculate the volume of that adaptor ring if you want to know for sure, personally doubt a change of +- 1l of chambers makes a noticable difference anyways, specially not with bigger driver possibly eating up extra volume in the front chamber :)

ts parameters might be slightly off the other drivers too to make up for any physical changes required to fit that new driver? > have you compard both versions 1:1?

No, but both mounting with & without ring is "officially" used, I just found that a bit strange...
If dia=50cm, thickness 2 cm, volume is 4 liters
