Amps were chosen because they are compact enough to fit in a narrow depth rack case and also more importantly because they sound very neutral and give out more than enough power for their intended use.

...your EQ looks a little bass light... does any of the amps have an internal crossover then or are you running really really really big subs and trying to soften them?

If it sounds like a gorilla is trying to escape, turn it down.

that eq was bought just to give a better top and mid sound, another will be bought for bass, that shot was just made for the day i got the qsc amp,as i dont drive my sound very hard due to living in a flat,so serious high power is not needed,i am in the proccess of replacing parts of the sound which have had their time ie the blue img amp.its 24 years old bought second hand and the left channel has gone, but still works.i am reluctant to throw it out as it has been with me for so long and served me very well.the whole thing is a work in progress, the jvc amp also bought second hand is also 24 years old,i use it to run my mid and treble sound.it too will be replaced one day but not yet as it serves my needs, running two 12 of it..its time and cash to get it sounding and looking good, but looks is not everything,i wont need a 31 band graphic for bass so a smaller band would be better, speaker wise for bass running a behirnger sub 18 and a 15,not ideal i know as it would be better to run speakers of equal size.like i said its cash so have to make do with what i have, over the past 20 odd years the sound has done me proud,as i take care of it and dont thrash it.

nice :-)

agreed to no need for 31 whole heap of bands, better shapeing sound with less bands, ie 10/12 band

comming from a roots/reggie soundsystem imho
