To get the youtube vids to embed you have to take the S off the end of the HTTPS:// at the start of the url or else it gets an error cause it needs log in details I think.

the subs ( all of them) play 28Hz - 90Hz where they meet the arcline on the lake preset i was using on Saturday.

csg, are they all set up on the same signal when used that way? same phase / delay settings or is there more to it?

that's a lot of sub.

All our amplifiers have processing on board, so the whole rack gets the same signal ( 2 rack here, so one right, one left).
Often but not always on arrays like this i add a small progressive delay from the centre out, to widen the bass "field", but other than that each sub is being run on the same lake preset.

On this occasion however i had all the subs aligned at the same point due to the layout of the array, with the stacks of 3 at the sides having more output per unit width than the single row between the stacks. This in itself removes the "power ally" in the middle, but the middle subs also remove the destructive interference and side lobing that you would get from running just the 2 outer stacks.

Yes, a lot of sub, but i had, at the loudest point, around 10dB headroom on the bass / sub section ( as in 10dB before reaching the voltage limit set within the lake preset, not before clip, that being more like 18dB headroom), so the system was being run well within its capabilities. Like everything, a rig being run comfortably sounds much better than one on its edge.
