I did quite a lot of work on the CB-18's today:

- Fitted all of the handles.
- Fitted 8 speakerclamps per cab,
- Installed speaker,
- Spayed the grille 2 times,
- Fitted the grille

What I still have to do:
- Make a wheelboard for the front.

Looks good, but i would put some foam on the front grill (preferably behind it) just to make it look a little more pro. Use spray-gleu to coat the grill only and then attach the foam to it. Apply some weight and a little later, voila.
Best regards,
Teun.

I already have the foam, firstly I wanted to attatch it to the back of the grill,
But I like the look of it more without, but maybe In the future I will add some foam.

Today I'm gonna make the wheelboards, and get everything downstairs for next week.

From Monday till Friday next week, Ill be using them every night.

It's quite a big room, I will make some measurements,
I'm gonna use them with the duran tops.

Expanded metal is available at sheet-metal shops, steel fabricators, and HVAC shops.

The type shown has sharp edges, the rolled flat version may be better for you.

http://www.google.com/search?q=expanded+metal&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

It has a light oil coating that is cleaned-off after fabrication (cutting and forming) and must be painted, powder coated, or dipped right after cleaning.

I bought my expanded metal here

Today I made the wheelboards, and made everything ready for tomorrow.

I will be running the CB's each off a Yamaha P4500 in bridge.
