QSA NX5.1
DC Bus caps sail close to the wind with 20V headroom and no equalising resistors. IGBT Drive inspired by an amp designed closer to home! Tops of chips filed away. Edited by kedwardsleisure - 16 August 2011 at 11:07pm |

Drives 10 IXYS igbts via the wee transformer.
Mains switch is on secondary side, SMPSU stays powered up 24/7 Uprated caps to Nichicon 200V and fitted NTC to stop my 13A socket switch welding in. Edited by kedwardsleisure - 17 August 2011 at 6:01pm |

Yeah very similar, hope they got the IGBT driver transformer right!
Also uses VIPer smpsu for standby circuit fed off main DC bus. Maybe copied off taiwanese blue ray player? |
