^ That's a big case for 2x450w,3u and about 18" deep? Conventional power supply,so probably quite reliable.

I used to have the ctwo 650 version. 30kg!   Very well made but lacked bass.

   Interesting, I just A/B-ed it with a C Audio XR3801 that I use for bass and it didn't seem to lacking anything, I compared them full range too and couldn't hear any noticeable difference.

Absolute workhorse that model... some people dont like the way they have shoe horned in the big PSU but its horses for courses and i dont mond the donkey work of carting it around. Its an ASS to get part for but once you do shes hot to trot!

Its a mono block 735w model if im not mistaken (engineering joke there!)
If it sounds like a gorilla is trying to escape, turn it down.

Sure looks like a Crest design to me (or a very close one), some of those boards look like a driver board for a Crest CA series and the crimp terminals and wiring sure do look familiar Wink

It's a sure thing.
Those Apogee amps are either OEM made by crest, or even just rebadged ones (f.e. Crest pro 4801/6001/7001 etc).

Chassis and psu wise i agree. Output nodules dont look anything like crest x001 series though. Also x001 series have tors on the top and bottom on the heatsibk i.e. It is tilted.
