I was hoping I'd get at least a couple of derisory remarks, but....NONE!
The top and bottom of this is, I've been asked to shift a pile of junk from a community centre cupboard.
I've just had a quick look, to find that, a couple of Citronic CS  300s in plinths & covers, in a flightcase, with some weird mixer and a Realistic tape deck, also, there is an August unit, with Garrard belt drives, boasting the most wierd plastic spindles, I've ever seen.
Speakerwise , there's all sorts of delightful tat, such as 2 x12s with 2x piezos....... I did find a 12" Celestion Sidewinder.
I've been offered 10% commission, on selling, so, I've had to stand back on negotiations, until the committee have discussed the fact that I would be losing out, selling via ebay. That's why I haven't gone too deep into cataloguing and testing.
If negotiations turn out well, I can put them on ebay and in Stuff For Sale section.
I'd be grateful for any comments on the potential value (or lack) of any of the bits mentioned.
Thanks. John

August was a brand name used by Dave Simms' Simms-Watts company back in the 70s; Simms-Watts came out of Soth Ealing's Musical Bargain Centre which later moved to The Grove opposite Ealing Grammar School - can remember having a set of their decks with a pair of Deafening 125-watt amps built in to the back.  Amps were actually Tuac's TP125 amp modules mounted on a folded steel chassis acting as heat sink.

TUAC Now, there's a name to remember, from the days of build your own gear from modules! They produced a complete, cased lighting controller, called the Star Chaser, which was one of the best controllers on the market. Worked with inductive loads and had a fade facility, worked as a sequencer and sound to light. Anyone recall them?

I've tested the RSC, and I've found a pair of matching speakers, yes, it works, and to pre-empt anyone, who might find it

I wouldn't take them for free, not worth the storage room. There is always some muppet who will buy them I guess, but hopefully not for that price.
