Interestingly, along some esoteric brands, JBL hasn't dropped the use of horns for home hifi. Maybe not for the bass section, but at least in medium and high frequencies

Not in the same league as the systems above,but here is a pair of Sony G5's,these were from their "Japanese super hifi" range from the late 70's,and were only available to special import......Bass is a 12 inch,to give you a scale. Alnico magnets.
