Why ....thank You Mark....gotta keep the SJ level of humour alive somehow !

Anyway back to other stuff.....

This is what`s going on in the wind department......you`ll have to work it out yourselves.

Ok...so a pre-summer ( Southern Hemisphere) update...

Firstly the whole Wind / Solar charge and in/outs has been tidied up...evrything mounted properly with breakers and in-line fuses...

Next was the task we`ve been putting off for a while. Batteries are HEAVY..... and the trailer was not really legal to pull ( or stop) that amount of weight. So ...

Take everything out of the trailer ....jack it up, and chop out all the old axles/ guards ..

Purchase a whole new 2.8t twin axle set with new bigger tyres, electric brakes and breakaway system. Weld new box section alongside the existing trailer frame, weld in a new drawbar support down the centre, fit a new 3t towball and handbrake !!

Along with that...refit spare wheel support at front, re-wire whole trailer for electric brakes, fit new mudguards , seal & paint the underneath and fit a new bracket to hold the wind turbine and a mount for the turbine vane....PHEW !!

Anyway it`s now LEGAL and slightly better looking with our white rims!

Next job is to go fully analogue using the 2 x BSS FDS360`s I bought in the UK when I popped over a few months ago.  I`ve only ever had to add maybe 1 msec delay subs to tops using the Ultradrive so hopefully I can get a decent enough match using the phase alignment of the 360`s. So cards to make  and more speaker testing to come ( sorry neighbours !)

Also maybe buying/ making some 18" tapped horns.... ( I have a bass habit to satisfy!) but they obviously won`t fit in the trailer !

Roll on some summer gigs!
