Found this by mistake. Don't know how accurate the list is but I'm sure others on here can add subtract to this list; It was made in '2004. Found it on dancehallreggae.com forum.- http://forum.dancehallreggae.com/archive/index.php/t-32236.html?s=8b398c52a449d83d54e2d67338b8cc81

I don't know about the rest, but the B and C 's are old models. Even in the 2008 cat. it shows the updated version of the TBX46 which is the TBX100. In the Archive section of the latest cat, it shows the TBX46 out of production.

If anything, it will have better glue technology and a better frame for heatsinking. Overall, it can't be too much different, sound will be similar but it does handle more power.

Alright, can we get back to putting this list together so that it can be of some help to people on here?
Maybe in order of best to worst with some prices. Some of us on here can't afford $1000 neos and would be happy to use a 'decent' inexpensive driver until we win the lotto. Or maybe it would be better to keep it in alphabetical order and give it a +number rating. +10 being the best etc. or +8 power handling, +6 performance in scoops etc. Aura {Seismic} 1808 B&C 18 TBX100- (Q331.50/ $340) http://www.usspeaker.com/B&C-18TBX100-1.htm Celestion Frontline 18- ($380) http://www.hollywooddj.com/cefr.html Cerwin Vega 188 EB Cerwin Vega 189 ES Cerwin Vega 189 JE {4 ohm} Cerwin Vega 189 SE Cerwin Vega 18S4 {4 ohm} Cerwin Vega 18S8 Eminence Magnum 18 HO- discontinued- http://www.eliminatorlightingdirect.com/EMINENCE_MAGNUM_18HO_18_HIGH_OUTPUT_DRIVER_p/290-586.htm Eminence Sigma Pro 18- ($170) http://www.usspeaker.com/eminence%2018-1.htm Eminence Omega 18 ($200) http://www.usspeaker.com/eminence%2018-1.htm Eighteen Sound 18 LW 800 Eighteen Sound 18 LW 1000 Eighteen Sound 18 LW 1250 Eighteen Sound 18 LW 1400 Electrovoice EVX 180 B Fane Colossus 18B 600 JBL 2242 McCauley 6256 North Creek Leviton P Audio C 18 600 LF P Audio C 18 650 EL P Audio E 18 300A P Audio E 18 600A P Audio IMF 18W P Audio R 18 100B P Audio R 18 76W P Audio SD 18 PAS LX 2800 Precision Devices PD 1850 Precision Devices PD 186 Precision Devices PD 184 Precision Devices PD 182 RCF L 18P 200 RCF Precision 18 G 400 Transparence 18 B 800 Void Acoustics V 18 1000 Feel free to comtribute to the list or add subtract from it etc. Bless. |
