Morning all... since lockdown I like many of you I have had no income at from my sound system sound & hire business since the start of lockdown.

Determined not to go under, whilst continuing to do what I love & use the skills I have learned over the last 25+ years in the industry, I started a new business…. https://www.facebook.com/Mycetias/ Wish me luck ;-)

I sell direct to customers exclusively. No dealers, distributers or middlemen, means no extra mark up, ensuring high quality #handmade audio products for a fair & affordable price. The website &  https://mycetias-audio.co.uk/ will be live very soon .  Please have a look, this & our Facebook page are the only place you can buy Mycetias range of hi-fi speakers, amplifiers & cables… The review's on Facebook are truly heartwarming :-) #Mycetias #HIghEndAudio Designed & #handmade in Lancashire UK #LetTheMusicPlay #SupportSmallBusiness

Been a long while since i posted any updates here:
Only just ;-) just a couple mm's to spare :-D

Finally, volt & amp meter fitted to OSS distro rack :-D Quite recently we played 3 events with horrible power supplies.
One from a generator only putting out 110v (obviously could not be used) & 2 venues with very dodgy mains supplies.
Now if needed we can show the promoter or venue owner any mains voltage power sag / drop from their supply.
I can also now see exactly how many amps our amplifiers draw when we play the sound.

Its been a while since my last post here, however, the work never stops Wink .....  here are new build double 8” +1”…. midtop / full range, rear ported trap box, sound nice :-D

Also new tweeter bullet boxes finished, these sit on top of our 10" reflex mid top reflex boxes so they match the six 15" mid tops for stacking (10" & 15" side by side in photo) #SoundSystemBusiness #SoundManLife

It was fun... rig sounded amazing, it did surprise me how sound filled the whole cathedral with such ease Big smile i couldnt run at full power due to complaints...  It was an interesting day indeed, even had a lttle fun sound clash with the organ, the guy playing it was a good laugh & wanted to know how loud & low we could play.
