Easy to get around? Take up less room?

You cannot be serious (said in an appropriately astonished John McEnroe voice).

How is a box that is twice the size, easier to move around? True you have half as many, but if they don't fit through doors, then that's your whole bass section gone.

As has been mentioned on the other thread you posted about this, you will save 1 piece of ply, so they will be around 3kg lighter (nothing), and 18mm less wide (also not worth writing to your raver gran about).

Modular is the way forward. Twin 18s like this is the way to stay right where you are.

Don't listen to the these guys, they're just jealous they didn't think of it first. Save even more wood and do quad horns, just like those guys in Brighton who've been tearing up raves all over the country of late with their revolutionary quadhorn design.

Quadhorn? Not the Flare stuff? They are 'Quadhorn' but not 4x drivers.
