Yea love Rotary mixers over sliders why just do nicer cus thay like reggae pre-amp, yes like the bosak too
also check out the Crest Audio Rotary Mixer 6210 , Vestax R3 , there a few cheaper ones around too like the studiomaster and numark...

In the States the Bozak and Urei (not the reissue) are so high on the used market, it is cheaper to build one from the schematics.

The rotary faders allow finer control of the levels in my experience; good for blending tracks as has been said above.
I have the rotary option for the Formula Sound FF6000 which I prefer to linear faders for mixing house music. Re: the Bozak - Marjan that's a beautiful example! ^^^ Cheap way of getting a rotary into hire stock though - most people have an 800 about, so £100-150 on the kit makes sense if the demand is there.
I was looking for a DJM1000 to do the same to, but the price of them is still too high for me for what they are. |
