Hi I have a number of Turbosound TQ440 flares to be boxed , can anyone suggest an alternative 6".5 closed back driver for them with the original driver being way out of budget, it was said that the Turbo driver was a rebadged B&C but there is nothing in there range not even a closed back model , I was informed that the PD 615 swg would be a match and it is a closed back with reversed dustcap and MLC have been very helpful with regards supplying this driver , are their any opinions on any drivers ?
Thanks

I too bought 6 of these flares off of face book.
Ive bought 4 x ciare 6.38 mr3 , they're cheap and they fit, I've inverted the dust cap and initial testing says that its a good match. where a bouts are you good groove ? i wouldn't mind meeting up and chewing the fat about what to do with these flares ... Cheers Matt |

The PD.615WG would be the best match.

I did see the pd615 and it's clear that it's probably the best choice, but it costs a lot more than the ciare so thought I'd give the ciare a go .
