It means try them and if you don't like them bin them, relating to a bag of candy/ sweets

In this case he suggest you plug them and in and let your ears decide.

Well, since these are empty cabs, I would need to purchase a pair of woofers for these to try them out and that's after purchasing the cabs, I have asked the owner to take pics of where the woofers mount and also one from the front showing a clear view of the inside to try to make a better decision, get back to you.

The guy just confirmed, it is a Martin copy, he thinks it's the 215 MKIII copies, he had CV L36's before but replaced them with these for low bass because they sounded better and gave better output than the L36's, he will take the pics tomorrow. Far as I know, these were ideal and mainly used for "high" bass, do people really use these for low bass too?

in a stack of 6 they give off a surprising amount of 40hz, enough to be used as a one way bass solution.

Thanks. Well this guy is not a DJ, he used it for live sound and he only used this pair, guess that was enough for him but does not wish to lug those heavy cabs around anymore.

They look like kinda mk111 copies, but wether they are correct inside, who knows? They also seem to be missing all the handles.

Be aware that the genuine mk111 has quite a small driver chamber,so you may need a very shallow driver to fit it,the originals had ATC PA100/375's.
Be seeing you.

Thanks for that info, I am hoping to get the 2 pics today and will post here. I had thought the only difference between the MKII and MKIII was the outer shape thinking they evened out the edges to make it look more uniformed.
