...Its not hard to buld a summing box... but wen your OCD kicks in hard you do tend to go a little over the top lol.

preamp should have  a summed output or a tape output i dont remember how that was called on jts sheet i had when i had his preamp.
so there's no need to strap together those bass, mid, treble outputs, just go out from the summed output jack to your amplifiers

dont have a clue what a summing box is but how do i go about making one because im in the same situation - well its a bit different actually but....

Just come out of the tape or mix output

That's what I did when I used to use a hifi amplifier

Wouldnt this also work ,with two amps that is , if i use split cables wich are two jacks one end and  one male XLR on the other. if i had four of these i could jack in all of them and then id have four XLRs to go to two amps (one channel per frequencie group).

could it be done?
