I have 2 Linex sample boards here they are being kicked around the Whorehouse floor for the last few months still look really good. They are White one with a topcoat one without.
Incredible stuff very hard wearing we will use it very soon and buy our own application kit ( Cost less than a decent amp rack) which will pay for itself very quickly.
I think it is the only real coating that will do all that it does so well very clever stuff

I have spoke to Linex here in Barnstaple. I said I would need to be able to apply differing colours which will need to be a slightly different setup to single colour apparently. cost is £20K+ so something to buy next year we are still looking for suitable premises to place production long term.

It is rather a task around here as Industrial Premises are too often being used as living spaces illegally according to Planning Rules as a higher rent is achievable. this is fairly unique to this part of East London what is referred as "Gentrification" where we have groups of people living in Warehouses and reducing the available stock for industrial purposes leaving very often unsuitable or very large units the only thing available.
we have discussed a move to another area for Production where we can get what we require. This remains only discussion at this point as do not really wish to relocate

What do you mean? His answer was very precise one to my question which LineX spray kit he is considering. :-)

Hello guys, a little update.

I went with LineX at the end. Looks fine other than guy had trouble to get smoother finish, because the cabs got damp in their shop, waiting for more than month.

Also got ripped by them little bit, because of the damp, they had to redone one cab and charged me for extra paint. So next time I will probably travel to Prague and hope for better service.

with regards, Ladislav

Line x /similar are a good bet for boxes that will get some rough treatment (subs, mostly) as the coating is pretty much bombproof and they'll stay looking in good shape for ages without the usual frequent touch ups and strip/respray every so often. For much longer anyway:p

With Warnex my norm is about 1.5-2kg per 12inch+hf box. More on the touring boxes.

that Warnex finish looks about the same as Tuffcab, is there much difference?

Having used both (always using rollers rather than sprays) I'd say Warnex is much much harder once dried. The consistency of Warnex is much thicker and you don't have to do 5+ layers like you do with tough cab. Blimey it's expensive though.
Don't test the champignon sound
