I'm off to a London venue again at the weekend with one of the smaller Outline arrays in, and it is one of my favourite still. Considering they've only got 4 of the double 18 subs in there its very impressive

Seems to be doing well for us. I've only used it a couple of times; its usually out on the road and with another day job I'm only on local shows.
But yeah has sounded fine for us whenever I've been out with it. Not blown away, but makes money and rider friendly, people like it. I'd personally have taken MLA compact (which we looked like and spoke to martin about), but the company couldn't justify the extra £££ and I'm just a freelancer for that company, not my decision . k Edited by kevinmcdonough - 03 January 2015 at 9:54pm |

changing the subject ( wow, that must be a first on here...), how are you finding the V system? ive heard it several times now ( from different suppliers, with different engineers) in anger, and im far from impressed so far...

The outline stuff is VERY good though has to be said, we looked at the slightly smaller version of the new GTO one, 12c or whatever it's called, and we're very impressed. Sounded great and the UK dealer was going to do us a VERY good deal. However talking to some clients rider issues swung it, and we had to go with d&b V series.

I got involved with the original "white" L'acoutics installs but I think the EM stuff came later.

Actually it's more likely Marquee would have done Westfield, more in line with their install M.O, and they're also EM dealers.

Sound by Design were the installer / dealer for RAH - wouldn't surprise me if they'd done Westfield too.
Nice job... |
