AB Systems 600 Amplifier designed the 5th of August in 1977. It is rated at 300 watts per channel at 4 ohms by the manufacture. The measured wattage before clipping under a 4-ohm load is;
298.4 watts @ 100 Hz 303.9 watts @ 30 Hz 276.5 watts @ 20 Hz 244.9 watts @ 10 Hz
At Clipping
404.1 watts @ 100 Hz 388.09 watts @ 30 Hz 325.8 watts @ 20 Hz 287.3 watts @ 10 Hz (Before Amplifier goes into DC Protect)
The AB Systems Precedent 600 predates the AB International Precedent 600A, LX and, so forth. The design scheme of the AB Systems Precedent 600 is not the same as the AB International 600 series despite sharing the same outer chassis. Best Regards, |

Thanks. My B&K Precision Function Generator is arriving today. This will eliminate me using digital sine waves on my computers for good. The only thing I will need next is a frequency counter. I am in search of a frequency that will register as low as 0.01 Hz. Best Regards, Edited by Elliot Thompson - 09 January 2015 at 12:22pm |
